A Charity That Supports Education

Draw the Future is a charity whose goal is for impoverished children to have a better education and a brighter future. We know the value of a good education and understand that knowledge can be one of the most powerful weapons for eradicating poverty itself. Our mission to empower children through books started in 2016 during a trip to India, where poverty was endemic to all the cities and streets. Consequently, the literacy rates were so low that entire households struggled to read the newspaper. Therefore, we decided to make a change by creating a charity that helped provide financial aid to these children so that they could be adequate books and resources. So far, we've been working with around 70 children from a slum in Sector 55, Chandigarh, India and have raised around $700 in total. We're a non-profit organisation as all the donations we collect are invested in books, stationary and clothes for the children.
