Goals

Welcome to our goals page! Here we discuss and add any future goals we aim to accomplish at Draw the Future. In conjunction with our charity's primary vision, our overarching goal is to 'provide the impoverished children of India with a better education' and we will continue to strive towards this indefinitely. This page also provides insight into how much we've raised so far and what the money has gone towards. Moreover, we would love input from the community as to what we can further hope to achieve and if you have any suggestions to make, please email rytashasekhon@gmail.com immediately!

GOALS FOR 2018:

• ✅Raise around $200 for the school
• ✅Provide the children with new notebooks (at least 50) and stationary
• ✅Provide enough monetary compensation for an 'out of school' trip or event 
• Ensure that they get a warmer carpet for winter
• Reach a wider range of audience, along with more audience input and perspective 
• Attain more exposure on a national or even regional scale 
• ✅Collect 50 pairs of shirts, 20 pairs of pants and 20 jackets for the children 
• Purchase more decorations for classroom to make it seem more inviting 
• Perhaps install a fan for the summers
• Give the children 20 story books to read 

Of course amendments and additions will be made to these goals throughout the year but for now, this is what we are hoping to achieve by December 20th 2018. Our financial statement will be released around the same time and can provide better insight into how our donations were spent.
